The sidebar acts as an efficient check list of patients. In the sidebar, staff can easily read patient names, exact arrival times, reason for visit and acknowledgment times. Just having a legible name can improve efficiency. Now add the consistent reasons for visit and exact time of arrival. Patient names can organized in ascending or descending order.
The sidebar shows a bright red button for patients that have not been acknowledged allowing for quick recognition from across the room. Having this ability gives anyone the freedom to roam about the office for other duties while still being able to efficiently monitor the sign in list. It also allows persons not within the reach of the front counter to help monitor waiting room activity.
When receptionists check patients in or out it lets the rest of the office know the status of the reception area and workload. This same window can be displayed on up to 10 different computers simultaneously. This allows everyone to monitor the reception area from any room in your office.
